Blissful remake of the 1986 tune “Dreamer.” What a justice to the original, looks like Elias knows his way around a remix, this is the first I have heard of this fellow Greek, and I must say, job well done. Have a listen and download the original to get a feel for where the inspiration for the remake came from.

Sampling, remixing, and editing is a big hazy grey area, where is the line between stealing and creative borrowing? No one really agrees 100%, but taking someone elses track and pressing it to vinyl to sell is pretty much agreed upon as a dick move. Well that just so happened to occur with this edit, so Catz ‘n Dogz decided to give it away for free so as not to let some unknown person profit off their creatively stolen, I mean borrowed, Moodyman and Dajaé vocals. Hahaha, turn it up and forget $$$!
Also check out the full breadth of Dajaé’s vocals in “Brighter Days,” well worth it.
