One of my favorite DJs and producers is coming to visit LA and will be guest DJ over CUBSCOUT. Last time I saw him play there, I heard him play the original “#1 Dee Jay,” by Goody Goody. Daniel is known to love the drama and animation that some of the old disco tunes comes with. I decided to cut out the vocals and edit the track to deliver the best part, the SAX! Check it out below.

Greg Wilson has been been DJing since the early eighties and has a vast selection of dancefloor-centric tracks. He is basically a living legend, pulling his influence from early funk and moving into disco and eighties electro. I own a couple of his edits on vinyl, and there are go to tracks for when a solid undeniable groove is needed.
